Mount Stuart Lions Club has a proud reputation of community service in the Townville area. A great oportunity to make new friends, have a great time and meet people from a diverse range of backgrounds, all while participating as a team in worthwhile and satisfying community projects.

We are actively involved working on projects to help individuals and improve our community.

Mount Stuart Lions Club, Townsville,   Queensland, is part of Lions District 201Q2 and is dedicated to improving all aspects of our local community, especially in the areas of youth, sight, hearing and the environment.

Mount Stuart Lions Club meets at 6.30pm on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. at the Cluden Park Motel, 147 Staurt Drive, Wulguru.

MOUNT STUART overlooks Townsville, the summit is a 25 minute drive from the Townsville CBD, with an elevation of 584 metres..The top of Mt Stuart is a first class viewing platform with panoramic views of Townsville City and the surrounding Tropical Savanna and Coast. In the distance you can see Magnetic Island and the Great Barrier Reef.

Mount Stuart is also used for commercial and ABC Queensland television transmission, as well as a Bureau of Meteorology radar station.

Townsville Mount Stuart Lions Club is one of twelve Lions Clubs supporting the Townsville community.
